Can I just vent real quick?

Everyone has bad days.

Everyone has shitty days.

Everyone has that day when they don't want to get out of bed and come to work.

Everyone has that day where they don't think it'll get any worse.

Everyone has that day where you don't want to be spoken to.

But please don't burst MY bubble for your crappy day.  Please don't mumble to yourself when I whistle or sing to myself.  Please don't make everyone around you miserable because your can't look at the positive things in life.

Be grateful for what you have.

Be grateful for the people around you.

Love the ones around you.

Smile, because you never know who needs to see it.

And I don't care who knows it!!

Lee and I just celebrated our one year anniversary!! It was such a crummy day weather wise, but we still went out to dinner to celebrate! I wrote him a love letter and a poem for the special day. I thought I did pretty well until I saw his present... :) :)

my gosh!! Lee's gift to me was the BEST present I've ever gotten! :) my present looks a looooot lamer than his! Haha















He is the best husband EVER! I adore him and his creative ways. I thought I was pretty awesome for using glitter glue for lettering... He won this round! :)

Anyway, it was an amazing night and I'm so glad to have the best guy in the universe! I feel like the luckies girl.

Stiiiiink!

This is my FAAAAAVORITESTEST PUPPY in the whole wide world!!
This week marks the week lee and I went out and met Riley! :) He has tremendously mellowed out since his arrival 2 years ago! He's a huuuge part of our family (and the kitty too!) and we love him, almost everyday! ;)

It's always better when we're together

One year ago today(now yesterday), I tried putting on a wedding band to my fiance.  It took a while, but WE GOT IT! :)

The day was absolutely gorgeous and everyone looked beautiful.  I love my friends and my family that are in our lives and helped make this day the best!!

To celebrate, we went to a DC bar called "Churchkey" and there are about one MILLION beers on tap!  It was aweomse and have lots of pictures to prove it! :)

Oh yes, the Ground is broken!

So we had our Pre-construction meeting last Wednesday and it was AWESOME!  We got to meet our construction manager, Brandon, who is a HOOT.  We also got word that they broke ground that day!   So we went out to the homesite to see what they were accomplishing!

Holy Smokes!!  They really went a-digging....

They used a pump to get the concrete to the homesite.  It was HUGE!


 We were sooo excited we decided to check out a new Pub! :) 

Oh my gooooosh!!! We are sooo excited, we can hardly stand it! :)  We will be posting nonstop throughout the process.

AHHHH!!!! That scale scares me.

I stepped on the scale this morning and saw a number I haven't seen in a LONG time.
